Children's Rights Song Contest 2023
As a certified human rights school, human and children's rights are of course a major theme at Volksschule Jägergrund - and the school choir set itself a big project.
As a certified human rights school, the theme of “human and children’s rights” is of course given great importance at Volksschule Jägergrund. Every class explores it in its own way, but the school choir took on a really big project last school year: writing its own song about children’s rights! Over several weeks the children came up with the lyrics and the melody themselves, and the result is a wonderful and instantly catchy song about the ten most important children’s rights.
We could not resist entering our song for the Styrian Children’s Rights Song Contest 2023 – and we promptly made it into the ten best entries!!
So on 24 November 2023 we really will take part in the song contest in Judendorf-Straßengel and perform live with starting number 6! We are absolutely delighted!!

Please VOTE diligently for our children of VS Jägergrund.
Voting opens on 17 November, and from that day on our song can be voted for every day. The voting result also counts towards the final result at the live event.
